 Does it make sense to start a journey where pirate attacks have been known to take place?  Would you put on a bullet proof vest in the middle of a gun fight?  Common practice has been for ships to pick up their security crews anywhere between Lat 11 to Lat 17 in order to save a few dollars. 

There is hard evidence that attacks have taken place throughout those regions.  The last thing you want is for your vessel to be overrun by pirates as it slows down to pick up your security crew, just to save a few days. In order to address the needs of your clients and crew, as opposed to the needs of the pirates, it only makes sense to move the embarkation point northward.  

At Lat 27 there have been no abductions anywhere near there and no pirate in their right mind would even attempt it.  In addition, there is a convenience factor that is often not considered. From London to our Remote Vessel is 5 hours exactly.  In order to get to Lat 15/16 the travel time is almost 5 times that.  When calculating the price, we take into account five elements: flight, stay, remote vessel, weapons and hotel hosting on the R.V.  You will find that we are less expensive in all those factors.

We have a range where mixed teams who have never worked together will get a 4 hour intensive combat training in order to become familiar with each other and their weapon.  This training helps to bond the team so that they can work together seamlessly.
